An insulation energy appraisal involves an on-site inspection, interview with the building owner, calculations, and analysis. The appraiser will evaluate the facility’s insulated and uninsulated mechanical system. The thermal performance of insulated of a building’s mechanical system is crucial to performance. Based on the analysis, the appraiser will document its findings and providing an analysis of the savings or loss with the current system, as well as the potential savings and reduced emissions if the company upgrades or replaces its insulation system. A customized final report will identify recommendations for insulation optimization and calculate the return on investment.
